Description: James I, Half Crown, 1623-4. Third Coinage, mm. Lis. Plumes Rev. S2667. Rare. A clear and appealing collectable example of this scarce half crown minted during the third coinage period of King James I. Plumes above the shield on the reverse, king on horseback above a groundline on the obverse. Struck on a full and well shaped flan, obverse and reverse legend legible. Obverse quite well worn but as aforementioned, legend is good, king on horseback visible but worn, the reverse being a lot better with a nice clear shield. A good affordable and collectable example.
