Description: From Ireland here is a lovely FULL SET of eight different coins..... farthing to half crown. The set includes a superb 1962 HALFCROWN and a lovely 1930 FARTHING. They are all in fine condition and much better.... please check photos. They are absolute beauties... all original and uncleaned. The coins are by Percy Metcalf, (1895-1970) who won the competition to design the first coins for the Government of the Irish Free State. The rural farming and wildlife theme was known as the Barnyard set. This is the FULL and COMPLETE set of COINS first minted in 1928. Please note farthings are scarce and expensive but for a FULL SET NEED TO BE INCLUDED. This listed set consists of; Half Crown Irish hunter horse 1962 Florin Salmon 1963 Shilling Bull 1966 Sixpence Irish Wolfhound 19560 Threepence Irish hare 1953 Penny Hens & chicks 1935 Halfpenny Sow & piglets 1949 Farthing Woodcock 1930.
