This lamp comes with very strong support arms coated in a matte black textured finish. Period bakelite fittings and build quality add to the charm of this versatile and collectable piece. The board beneath was used for display purposes only. You will need to either screw the support into a table or piece of timber to be able to stand the lamp up on its own. This a screw in base model, not the one that comes with a heavy weighted base, namely because when working in industrial workspaces it was essential that the lamp was solidly fixed to position for reliability and safety. It is sold in its complete form, as it was sold originally.
