They have been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and they have nice shine, are very clean, and are table ready. They are straight, not bent, handles and blades are tight and secure, have no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all. As is common with hollow handle knives like these, they are not hallmarked by the maker, but are marked on the blade STAINLESS and on the side of the handle STERLING HANDLE.
