Description: In this latest addition to my High Voltage series, stunning holographic Curly Maple is paired with White Ash to create a truly appealing contrast. Utilizing upwards of 6000 Volts of electricity, beautiful tree like Lichtenberg patterns have been formed in the Ash, slowing as they reach inward towards the dense material surrounding the solid brass "knot". Using a variety of different solutions and electrodes, I must say I feel a bit like Dr. Frankenstein when creating these pieces. The center swath is comprised of African Padouk and aircraft Aluminum, and separates two halves of the precisely machined Naval brass inlay. A highly finished live edge on the Maple really sets this piece off, giving your eye an abundance of features to take in. Dimensions are: 28" H x 13" W x 1" Mounting Hardware has been installed for ease of hanging.
