The poster is genuine, not a copy or reproduction and was displayed in a theater during the film's showing. The poster is in good condition with typical fold creases, light separation in the folds, rough edges and mounting pinholes as well as minor surface scuffing. These imperfections are very typical of a poster this age and one that was actually used in a theater. Suitable for framing and would be a nice addition to any collection or collector of Clint Eastwood memorabilia. I obtained the poster directly from the movie manager. Collecting movie memorabilia is a great hobby and can be very profitable. Like most collectibles, original movie memorabilia such as posters, lobby cards, still photos, etc. will increase in value over time. Most movie posters were actually used and displayed in a theater to promote a film and will normally have minor flaws and/or imperfections. It is not unusual for an original poster to have mounting holes or tape marks, fold/crease lines, fading, writing on the back or on the border, and/or minor wear from handling. Fold or crease lines are very common on most posters issued prior to the mid 1980's and are not really considered a defect. These types of imperfections actually attest to a poster's authenticity.
