Beautiful hand-quilted, Wall Hanging in Lone Star Quilt Pattern in beautiful sage green with beige, burgundy, purple, rose, and white accents. This quilted wall hanging was purchased at a Charity Auction in Pennsylvania. Hand-Quilted Wall Hanging is supposed to be 41-inches square, but it is not square (see picture of the edges to see how they curl). There are not any tabs on the back for hanging the quilt. Without the tabs it makes it perfect for using as a table centerpiece, which would solve the problem of it not being perfectly square. The colors of this quilt are very pretty. The border is a sage green that sets off the green in the screen-print of hydrangeas. The quilter used a darker green leafy looking fabric for the inside border and pieces of the Lone Star. The "white" portions of the wall hanging are actually off-white fabric with tiny white flowers screen-printed on it. The piecing of the quilt is fairly good, with most of the points lining up correctly. While this quilted wall hanging may not have been done by an "expert" quilter, it was done by someone with a good sense of colors. There may be some loose threads and chalk marks for the hand-quilting visible. We leave those because that is how we bought it. Please look at all the pictures and email if you have any questions.
