From “The Ten Commandments” to “Airplane” and beyond, Elmer Bernstein was one of the most talented and prolific Hollywood composers. One of his best known scores was for the 1963 epic, “The Great Escape.” Here we have the United Artists records soundtrack LP signed in black ink on the cover by Mr. Bernstein. This exceedingly rare item comes from the massive collection of a soundtrack collector who consigned it to us, with many more items we’ll feature in the near future. The LP is in Excellent (E) condition, while the album containing it is in Very Good (VG) condition, with an one inch seam split at the bottom and on the bottom corner(SEE PHOTO). The album also contains it's original United Artist movie screening contest card! This item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
