Gordon Grant Signed Lithograph "Life Boat"

Description: This action-packed lithograph depicts eight people in a life boat battling a raging sea. Gordon Grant (1875-1962) is noted for his maritime watercolors, illustrations and prints, and this is a classic example. The image is 9" x 11 1/2" on a sheet of cream wove paper that measures: 11 1/2" x 16". This was published by Associated American Artists in 1939 in an edition of 250 and is signed in graphite lower right: "Gordon Grant". Condition: Very lightly toned at mat window, two pieces of hinging tape at upper recto corners. Otherwise very good condition.
