Description: Gone with the Wind Margaret Mitchell A Book Club Edition was printed and released at the same time as the first and second printings, 1936, one indicator of the BCE is roman numerals for 1936 (MCMXXXVI) on the copyright page.This edition has the Roman Numerals and no DJ & 689 pages.Book is blue hardcover and on the spine the ink has faded but the embossed imprint is still there or it was always printed with a lighter ink. The words look like baby blue against a federal blue hardboard color.. A split is occuring at the top of the spine book corners are still quite pointy and there is edge wear especially at bottom of spine and top. Top of book pages look like faded green or blue color, considerably darker on top than the edges and bottom The title page does NOT have any date on it. Note the odd printing style inside like a vintage bible.
