The non-color illustrations tend to be of weavers, designers, scenery, looms. Rugs are mostly modern and are city rugs. The original series had 10 volumes. 31 x 14.5 cm. 1969 copyright, 1978 printing, 50 p., 21 illus., 10 in color. 7 of the color illustrations are of complex floral design rugs; the rest of the illustrations are of Isfahan, buildings in Isfahan and rug designers. Text is on the history of Isfahan, biographies of two rug designers, on Nain, the Ali-Gapu palace, Nadjabad, and comments on the rugs that are illustrated. Paperback, fine condition, as new, but not crisp.
