Description: Vintage, unknown origin, unknown maker, Nickel Alloy (German Silver) mullen mouth Pelham bit. Measures 5" across, 4" shank from top to bottom, 2" from bit to bottom of shank. This is one of my first bits, probably bought sometime in the 1980's, possibly in England. When I first took its picture for the listing it was patinaed to slightly golden, so I decided to give it a bit of polish. It shined up beautifully. Nice weight for its size. Since our last horse is now retired, I'm in the process of clearing out our tack room. I'll be listing quite a few pieces of English tack. Everything will be checked out and cleaned and probably a lot will be donated. What isn't will be up on eBay. At the moment, I'm listing bits. All have been thoroughly sanitized in dish washer and polished up to a beautiful shine (some after their pictures were taken).
