Description: General Electric AC Battery Portable Radio - Model P977B - 1960s -Tested Working Used. Complete with working expanding and contracting antenna. Turns on / off and selectable stations properly. AM/FM switch works. No battery corrosion. ONE of the battery wires is separated from the battery holder that requires 4 - AA batteries. Not repaired or tested with batteries. Please review the photos. Some of the chrome paint is chipped her and there. Much of the leather case is fully intact, except the lugs for the original strap are torn, and there is no strap at the top. From a smoke free environment. Nice sound quality over all, probably due to the relative size of the case and the speaker. Has not been tested with an external earpiece, as we do not currently have one.
