It is so rare, or even rarer than the LOB version because it is from the game promo that sold out very quickly around the same time as the LOB. Most of them were either damaged or in bad condition, and quantities are less than the LOB You will receive this freshly graded GEM MINT PSA10/BGS9.5 DDS dark magician. It is very pristine and glossy, with perfect centering. It is rank #3 because you don't see the centering and surface with 10s often, while most of the 9.5 with sub grades of 9 and 9.5. The highest grade has 3 10s and this has two, the rest either have one 10 or no 10. It is very hard to find a brand new dds promo in such great centering, with glossy finish and crisp corners. I own 10 copies of dds dark magician myself (2 of them are psa 10 and 1 bgs 9.5), I can easily say that you don't come across one like this easy. Even with the PSA 10 or equivalent on the market you see, they are always off-centered a bit or there could be some minor flaws (yes, I checked those listings). In my opinion, this card should be a BGS 10 or black label worthy but that just my opinion. Here is my reasoning, I checked the card very carefully with magnifier before submitting, the corners are crisp and edges are perfect. It doesn't have any imperfection to me and not sure why the grader gave the corner 9 and edge 9.5. Sometimes the graders are inconsistent in PSA and BGS especially in this covid time. You can see the last two pictures (they are pre-submission pictures), the card is very clean and pristine. I was trying to crack the card and regrade, but I did not have experience of cracking case before. So I just leave it like this because I don't want to take the risk of damaging the card. I listed as 15000 based on the market price and recent sold price, however it is negotiable. A friend of mine sold a BGS 9.5 (with condition slightly worse than mine) on early September for 3500 USD on IG. A PSA 10 sold for 5000 private offer on ebay. A PSA 9 sold for 2000 recently too. One raw card that is likely to be PSA 8 sold for 1025 USD by PWCC auction. Also, the active listings right now you can find are 25000 and 15000, given that mine has better condition than them. The collector market is still growing and the prices are increasing frequently. However, I'm open to any reasonable offers, don't hesitate to offer me or contact me with your offers. Why I let go of this card? Because as I mentioned, I owned 10 copies of DDS dark magician already, 2 PSA 10 and 1 BGS 9.5. I would just let go of this beauty to someone who will treasure her as much as I do and complete my other collection goals. Although the 3 graded ones I own have worse conditions than this one, I'm not too picky. Prefer USA or Canadian buyers.
