Description: WEATHERED WHITE G SCALE FREIGHT DEPOT This fully assembled, weather resistant depot is built to approximately 1:24 scale, but it would also work well with slightly larger or smaller operations, such as 1:20.3 and 1:29. This depot would also work well for some indoor gauges such as the old American Flyer wide gauge, or the Lionel, Marx and MTH standard gauge trains. The footprint for the depot is about 14" wide by 12" deep, ( including the platform ) and it stands about 10" tall. There's also a platform extension that's about 4 " wide by 14" long. Built from exterior grade lumber with rot proof PVC footers, this weather resistant structure has been assembled using galvanized fasteners and waterproof adhesives throughout. Detailed inside and out with open doors so you can see inside. ( All doors are fixed in place and do not operate ) Corrugated aluminum roof sheds water just like the real thing and has been painted for the look of rusting steel. Solid Cedar platforms are naturally rot and weather resistant, but they've also been stained for added protection and a heavily worn and weathered look Fresh from our shop, the exterior of this building has also been heavily weathered using the best exterior grade finishes, so it will stay looking that way. Interior is lit with one miniature light fixture that can easily be connected to just about any low voltage power source. 18V max. No power source included.
