Helpful Tip: To ensure you order the right size for the fit you want, take a shirt from your child’s wardrobe that fits well, lay the shirt flat, and measure the width across the chest of the shirt, one inch below the armpits (not including the sleeves,) and compare those measurements with the size chart. Also keep in mind that although these shirts are pre-shrunk by the manufacturer, they will shrink a little bit more with the first washing and drying (in a dryer) since they are 100% Cotton (Sport Grey t-shirts are 90% cotton.) *Please note, If you were looking for a size YOUTH XL, there is an overlap in measurements between the YOUTH and the ADULT sizes in the Gildan brand. A YOUTH XL and an ADULT SMALL & MEDIUM are somewhat comparable in size. A YOUTH XL is a little bigger in width than an ADULT Small size, and is actually the same width as an ADULT Medium. But the YOUTH XL is a little shorter in the length than the ADULT Small & Medium sizes. Please see the size charts in the pictures above. Because of this size overlap, I didn’t order Youth XL’s in all the colors I ordered. I do have Youth XL black, white & sport grey t-shirts in stock, but not in the other colors, at this time.
