Description: Immaculate replica of Frederick Remingtons Coming Through the Rye statue. Coming through the Rye was Remington's first effort in using more than two horses and was his largest piece to date. To Remington this scene represented a joyful experience of cowboy and horse having completed a strenuous cattle drive of weeks on the trail. The four men and horses have taken on with reckless abandonment and are frolicking in the retirement from daily chores. This scene depicts the cowboys as they are riding in to enjoy a night on the town. It is 100% American bronze, cast in the traditional "Lost Wax Process" with a magnificent patina finish that create natural variations in texture and color and then hand-rubbed to bring out the awesome detail and highlights. This statue is a fine replica of the original. It is mounted on a marble base and is hand crafted from 100% solid bronze. Dimensions are 28”Wx22”Dx29”H. Weighs approximately 300 pounds.
