Fiery Furnace Blacksmith - 3PC Chisel Set

Description: These are my 3pc Chisel Sets This is a set of three of my most commonly used chisels in the shop. All three are made from new, 5/8-inch round, 5160 spring steel, oil hardened and tempered, and sharpened with a 120 grit sanding belt. They are about 9-inches long. The round blade chisel is typically used for general split and chisel chasing work. It can be used for cold layout or hot-work. The flat blade chisel is usually used for getting in tight areas where the round blade chisel won't quite reach, and it also has some chasing applications. It is also a good choice for top cutting a bar in half. The small, semi-rounded chisel is great for getting in the smallest areas where your other chisels just won't quite reach, and can also be used for chasing tight curves or making short decorative lines. I like to use mine to open up small split crosses. These tools are completely hand made, right here in the good ole USA, by me in my full-time blacksmithing shop.
