Description: From my collection to yours... Commissioned by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and approved by John Hughes, this new, never-displayed Mondo screen print for FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF represents an iconic scene from the classic '80s movie. Signed and numbered by the artist, the 18x24" print dates back to 2006, when Mondo first started making posters for its "Rolling Roadshow" series (screenings held around the country at locations significant to the films in question). Jay Ryan was one of the original, Austin-based artists to design "gig posters" for these special one-off screenings. He has since made Mondo prints for A Christmas Story, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Red Dawn, Aguirre and Moonrise Kingdom. I'll pay Priority Mail shipping (in a heavy-duty cardboard tube) within the U.S. International buyers cover costs for overseas shipping and assume responsibility for any import issues (feel free to specify how the export form should be labeled so you don't get gouged on duties, if that's a risk in your country). The first image above is a stock one, while the others represent the poster being offered. The print is in near mint condition. Only flaw I can find is a slightly softened lower right corner (as pictured); the other three are perfect. I have a few other Mondo posters in my collection, if you're interested.
