Description: -Vintage opalescent hobnail vase.-Maker is Fenton Art Glass Co., of Williamstown, West Virginia.-Color is Topaz (yellow). -Available from 1941-43. Topaz pieces would continue to appear for some years after 1943--but I believe that this particular piece was discontinued in 1943.-Height is 4 inches.-Uranium glass: vase is UV reactive, and glows green under a blacklight.-Vase is in great used, vintage condition. No chips or cracks. No dings on the ends of any hobnail. It appears to have been displayed and stored responsibly. Vase has a slight lean--probably from the pressure put on it during the hand crimping process--this is a factory issue. There is a fully enclosed bubble near the rim--another factory issue.-Very clean, and ready to display.
