Description: New, never used Erzgebirge Volkskunst 1-tier Pyramid Nativity Windmill candle holder. Handmade in Germany from wood, this Nativity has a tree with curled branches in the center. Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in crib on one side and a Shepherd with two sheep on the other side. Once the windmill-like paddles are attached to the top, the heat from lit candles (not included) make the blades turn rotating the base. This creates a pretty display of light and shadows. Measures approximately 9" tall (I did not attach blades so it is an estimate). This item was only removed from the box to photograph. It has been stored and never used. It would make a wonderful gift. A handmade, high quality, German wooden Christmas decoration to cherish for years to come.
