He has been a Gibson user for a long time, and his already released Gibson signature guitars are very popular and trade at premium prices on the used market. Epiphone has teamed up with Gibson Custom Shop to release the Dave Grohl DG-335. This model combines the features of the ES-335 and Trini Lopez models that Dave requested and fans expect. It features a full range of specifications, including diamond holes with binding, a semi-hollow ES body, an oval C-shaped neck profile, a one-piece mahogany neck, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, a Trini Lopez-style headstock, and a laurel fingerboard with split diamond inlays. The pickups are Gibson USA Burstbuckers, which are Dave's preference, with a Burstbucker 2 on the neck side and a Burstbucker 3 on the bridge side. Like the EIGC (Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom) model, these are wired to CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch, and 1/4" output jack.
