The movement is marked ~ " BHA London. The Renown. Made in Great Britain." 8 day time and strike spring driven movement, striking the hours and half-hours on a cathedral gong. Movement has been completely overhauled and the clock is being sold in guaranteed running condition. Please see video below images for demonstration of strike sound. The case is made of Mahogany with pretty Satinwood inlay ~ top adorns the dial and bottom is oval. Cute round brass feet, bezel, and turned tapered columns on the sides. The dial is engraved metal with black Arabic numerals and chapter ring with triangle 5 minute markers. Dimensions are Height 13", Width 9", Depth 5", and Weight 7 lbs.
