Description: Pictured is a small, shallow redware serving bowl offered for sale. The flat-bottomed bowl is decorated with large dark manganese splotches over the entire surface. It measures but 2" in height, 7 3/8" in diameter, & dates from 1835 - 1865. There is a thru hairline running from the rim to the base edge & a single tiny nick, see pics.
