Description: Sealed 1978 Original With Small Cut Out Hole. It Is Difficult To Find One Still Sealed. "Drastic Plastic" is the fifth and final studio album by the British progressive rock band Be-Bop Deluxe, released in February 1978. The album was produced by John Leckie and Bill Nelson, the band's lead guitarist, vocalist, and main songwriter. The album saw a shift in the band's sound towards a more commercial, new wave sound, with a greater focus on keyboards and a more polished production. The album featured the hit singles "Electrical Language" and "Panic in the World", both of which reached the UK top 40. After the release of "Drastic Plastic", Be-Bop Deluxe disbanded, and Bill Nelson went on to pursue a successful solo career. The album remains a controversial but important part of the band's legacy, marking a transition from their early prog rock sound to the new wave and synth-pop sounds of the late 1970s. | ||
