Description: This is a DOVO Barbarossa Straight Razor, 1050356. This razor has 2 1/4" hollow ground carbon steel blade with Faux Tortoise handle. The OAL is 8 1/4" and the closed length is 5 1/2". The Dovo Best Quality 5/8 100-581 (125803810) is a 5/8″ width, hollow ground, carbon steel razor with a round point and a faux Tortoise handle. Coming in at ~39.2 grams with a ~46mm cutting length span, Dovo’s Barbarossa 10580356 is a ‘shorty’ razor featuring the same grind profile as any common type 5/8″ full hollow round head Solingen modern, minus that 2.5cm or so of cutting length (and its associative weight). File jimping is present upon the underside of the tang (the part you hold while shaving) to aid in handling the razor. The tortoise themed resin scales have been shortened accordingly. This is a “shoulderless” razor, which is something that some Barbers generally prefer for its slightly better handling upon a strop and a whetstone (there’s no little secondary ridge present to avoid). This straight razor come sin the original packaging from the maker. This razor is unused and uncarried but it does have some scuffs on it. It is the buyers responsibility to know their local laws.
