Henry E. Parker, South Congregational Church, Concord, New Hampshire, on April 16, 1865 the day after the death of President Abraham Lincoln. The discourse reflects the feelings of horrors, loss and frustration due to the assassination and is indicative of sermons and speeches at that time of this nature. Lincoln was shot on April 14, 1865. THIS ANTIQUE WRAP/BOOKLET IS IN FINE CONDITION This rare, original, antique wrap/booklet is in excellent condition. It comes protected in a sturdy, clean, Gaylord archival cover with folding sides. The wrap/booklet is uncommon and is dated immediately after the death of Lincoln (a plus). It is clean and tight throughout. The exterior cover is clean with no edge wear. The pages are in excellent condition and have no writing, smudging, foxing, stamps, pasteboard or other markings.
