This is a complete ready-to-play 100-card deck, and all of the cards are authentic English-version magic cards. I took several pictures that show all of the cards in the deck, so please look at those pictures so you can see what all of the cards do and how they interact with each other. Summary: Would you still love me if I was a Wurm? Baru would! What's better than massive earth-shattering Wurms? Why, even bigger player-devouring Wurms, of course! This deck seeks to use its massive creatures to overwhelm opponents' puny blockers and win through combat. What makes Baru Special: Baru is one of the better lords in general. +2/+2 is a great buff, and giving trample to all of your huge creatures is the most important keyword you can give them. It's likely not essential to drop Baru instantly, as he doesn't do much without a Wurm already out, but once he gets rolling, he gets rolling fast. Don't be scared of the eight mana activation cost to make what is a 6/6 trampler with Baru out, as it gets reduced very quickly. With one of Baru's Wurm tokens, it already only costs two mana. It is very likely that this will end up costing one mana for a 6/6, which is a remarkable rate. Gameplan: Wurms are simple creatures and your strategy is similarly straightforward: get enough mana to drop huge bombs, give them all trample, and win. I highly, highly recommend more strictly evaluating your starting hand than you would for most other decks. It is very important that you can actually play a wurm to get things going, so 3 land and all 4+ mana cards is usually not going to be enough. You should be looking for 3-4 lands and at least one card you can play on turn 2-3. You have a number of cheap untap instants; holding up enough mana for them or an additional Baru activation is very scary for our opponents. Attacking you is never safe when you can produce a 6/6 out of thin air at instant speed. Speaking of instant speed, try to save Baru's activation for your opponents' end step. If you can catch someone by summoning a Wurm as a blocker, thats great, but unlikely to work more than a couple times. By saving till an end step, you can change up how people are doing threat assessment and life total calculations, putting you in a better spot to exploit them.
