This is the July first 1925 100 Peseta. The banknote has dark blue and green coloring on multicolor under-print and depicts the image of King Felipe II to the left of the front. The banknote displays the date and the denomination on the front and only the denomination on the back. The back is in dark blue and orange in color and depicts the retreat of Felipe II. It has three signatures on the front. This particular note has the serial number D5,805,278 displayed on the front and four times on the back. The paper of the note is light and the note retains quite a bit of its original crispiness. The note has a water mark showing king Felipe II in the round white circle situated in the lower right corner of the front. We believe this is the Republic issue of 1936. Please carefully view scan as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: 1936 with the date 1 July 1925. Printer: Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. New Malden, Surrey, England. Size: The banknote measures ~5 1/2" by ~4". Pick Number: P 69c. Condition: I would grade this banknote as a crisp extremely fine or much better with all the details being very well preserved. The note has one light central vertical crease and a couple of minor bumps. The note is lightly soiled but has no stains except of a smudge at the right most signature, which we believe is original to the piece and is a result of the printing. The note still retains most of its original sheen and stiffness. The note has no graffiti and no pinholes. The banknote has no splits, or tears. The corners of the note have minimum rounding if any. The edges of the note are intact with some minor roughness on the bottom edge at the end of the fold. Just a great piece to add to your collection.
