Description: Barbie Nascar 50th Anniversary , ready for display Please see the pics , as they represent the actual doll / box , and yes the box does have minor shelf wear Happy Bidding These dolls are from my private collection, I have collected over 35 years and in the beginning I never kept a box or packaging. ( sad to say but the truth) .They were always kept in a smoke free , climate controlled environment. So as I began increasing my collection I looked to ,Re sale shops , Auctions , and other merchants as previously owned dolls , Some never removed out of their boxes , some were re packed and some came with no box. The reason I write about all this is because I think is important to check your dolls out occasionally , give them an annual check up minimally lol . This is my opinion Why you ask ? there could be problems that will never get repaired , and believe me when I say , dolls do not repair themselves , not repaired or treated will ruin your little doll. Sometimes the ink in the clothing reacts with the material used in creating the doll plastic , rubber bands etc begin to breakdown if left too long become a goo mess in you dolls hair doo. Ideally, rubber and plastic objects should be stored in cold, dark, dry, and oxygen-free conditions..so without saying the containers or boxes we think are keeping them pristine well ... you guessed it.... NOT so much Free advice, you choose how use it
