Description: Cocoon (movie) DVD - ORIGINAL - Zone 2 - SynopsisJack, a boat owner whose finances are at rock bottom, finds himself renting his boat to four strangers for 27 days. These strangers are in fact "Antarians" who came from the planet Antares but who have taken human form. They returned to Earth after 10,000 years to retrieve 20 other Antarians from "cocoons" on the ocean floor. While waiting to leave for their home planet, these cocoons are stored in the swimming pool of a villa also rented by these same Antarians. However, three residents of a nearby retirement home had taken to swimming in this pool when the villa was unoccupied, by breaking in... The arrival of these new tenants causes them worries and these three elderly people decide to continue coming to the swimming pool in their absence, until the day they discover these "cocoons" at the bottom of the water. They decide to swim there anyway and discover that this pool has since had a beneficial effect on their aging health and they find a "new youth"... Joe, one of these old men, has a complete remission from the cancer he suffers from thanks to these "miraculous" swims.
