Description: Circa 1920 Oakland Motor Company of New England dogbone-style Motometer radiator cap made by Boyce Moto-Meter Company of Long Island City, New York. The last patent date shown is August 13, 1918. Measures about 8" across the dogbone cap and sits about 5 1/8" high. Very nice condition, front and rear faces show little to no wear and the mercury tube looks intact (but not accurate). Does show considerable wear on the finish. The beveled glass faces are also in good condition with not a lot of scratches and wear. Working condition is unknown.
