Description: For The Baseball Hobbyist... 1977 SERTOMA STARS Puzzle Back card GEORGE "BUCK" WEAVER, Chicago White Sox Scarce Midwest Regional Card distributed at 1977 Indianapolis Convention This scarce regional issue was released more than 35 years ago in connection with the 1977 Indianapolis Sports Collectors Convention. An interesting set featuring some of the game's all-time greats as well journeymen of the past and distant past, the set was sponsored by SERTOMA (SERvice TO MAnkind), the men's service organization. This card measures approximately 2-3/4" by 4-1/4" and features SERTOMA's logo prominently in the upper left above the player's picture. The back forms part of a puzzle picture of the 1913 Pittsburgh Pirates team. Collecting Tip: This unconventionally sized card fits easily in standard postcard size sheets and top-loader holders.
