She wears slipper like shoesher pants are tied at the ankle bunching them upShe wears an interesting outfit as the sleeves are only half sleevesand only cover the back of her arms. Around her waist she wears a thick belt with a big emblem in the middle. On her head she wears a beaded head band which keeps her hair out of her face. This is a beautiful piece that was cast using the “Lost Wax Method” and has a two tone brown patina.This sculpture is mounted on a black marble base and is handmade and 100% bronze. This sculpture is signed P. Laurel.Pierre laurel France (1800-1900) In this scholarly work, the artist demonstrated his mastery of academic criteria whilst asserting personal qualities.
