This titanium stem is unique compare to other aftermarket Brompton titanium stems in that it has a removable handlebar clamping faceplate secured by 4 bolts and accepts a 31.8mm handlebar - similar to the T-Line stem. In my opinion, if you are thinking of upgrading to a carbon handlebar to lighten your Brompton, 31.8mm bars are the only safe way to go. Available in black, which is coated by PVD (a form of electroplating). The length of the stem is 350mm as measured from the base of the hinge to the center of the handlebar clamp.
