Description: This vintage bowl/vase by Aldo Londi for Bitossi is a stunning piece of mid-century modern art pottery. The colorful striped pattern is hand-painted and the finish is a matte with a sgriffato technique applied. Signed and numbered on the bottom, the exterior colors consist of greens, gold, off-white with a black lattice. The interior in contrast is a very shiny, rich chocolate brown color. The piece is 10 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 4.25 inches high, with a weight of 2 lbs. 4 ounces. Produced in Italy during the mid-20th century, it features a painted backstamp on the bottom.
