Description: This is another one of my several listings of Barbie wearing a unique handmade crochet Victorian outfit. Her dress is bell shaped with a fitted jacket in a moss or olive green with details in a soft pink (bubble gum?). She wears a pink jabot in the front under her jacket. The dress is very voluminous (under the skirt there is a cotton stuffed shape that serves as a stand for Barbie too). Adding to the body the removable train of the bustle in the same green and pink trim, has several layers. She also comes with a matching parasol. From the style (and she does have the parasol!) we can say it is probably a day dress (the top of her dress covers up to her neck). She is also wearing a cute elaborate matching bonnet, green with pink trim and a pink feather, perfect for visiting friends or going out to run some errands. All the dolls come from an adult's private collection who is an artisan and connoisseur of Victorian Ladies Fashions and loved to knit and create these amazing outfits, using 80's and 90's Barbies as models. Barbie has her hair up in an elaborate fashion under her adorable bonnet. In the bottom of her "stand" she is marked 11/93, which should be when she was "born" (put together with her new outfit as she stands now).
