Description: This very attractive, color post card of Jaffa(in very fine condition, with very little wear and tear around the edges, and few stains), appears to have been mailed, free-franked, most likely from the area in and around Jerusalem(a great, purple cachet: K.u.K. Ersatzabteilung f.d. ost. ung. 24cm. Morserbatterie No. 9!), Palestine, Ottoman Empire, to Vienna, Austria, during World War 1! Very minor blemishes aside, this is one nifty piece of postal history related to the the Austro-Hungarian military and its operations in the Holy Land during WW1!
