AUsed Alpha Eclipse, Laser-C-Tungsten, 9.5 Degree Loft Driver w/Graphite Shaft!

Description: A "Used" Alpha "Eclipse" Laser-C Tungsten Face, 9.5 Degree Loft Driver with a Graphite Shaft! What a surprise! I found Alpha Clubs on the Internet & for sale on eBay. And I probably looked at over 50 pics of Alpha Dr1vers, and did not see one that looked like this one. This may even be one of the earlier made Alpha Drivers. There are 3 different metals in this Club Head. Carbon Steel, Copper, & Tungsten. The copper is the 2 copper inserts in the Sole, and I am guessing that they are there for weight to help lower the center of gravity of the Club Head, to give the ball more height at MOI. The top of the Club Head has about a 2 inch wide raised section on it, and I am not sure if it is just the design, or to help you square the Club Head at address. The remainder of the Club Head is Carbon Steel with a Tungsten face. The Club Face is finished in way I've never seen on any golf club. The Surface of the Club Face is like the texture of 40 Grit Sandpaper, but it is smooth. I'll guess that is to grip the ball better at MOI, and to keep it going straighter, or maybe to assist a Fade or Draw swing. There is hardly a mark on the Club Head, including the paint, as far as nicks and dings. And the Club Face, with the rippled surface, it is hard to see any nicks or dings, but there are faint impressions of the dimples of a golf ball. The Sole is very,very lightly scuffed and the Copper inserts have a tiny amount of stain. The Graphite Shaft is from Aeromark Golf, and is a Frequency Calibrated, Lightweight Graphite in a Regulat Flex. The Grip is a Golf Pride Tour Wrap and is in good condition!
