Description: Apple Macintosh Color Colour Classic ‘Mystic’ LC575 Laser Cut Rear Panel Cover For sale is this laser cut acrylic rear cover for the Apple Colo(u)r Classic. We like to call it the 'MysticPanel'. The MysticPanel is straight out of the RetroShopBox Laboratories, designed and made in-house at RetroShopBox Headquarters. We makes these panels as each order comes in. This panel solves the age old problem when upgrading a Colo(u)r Classic that has been upgraded with an Macintosh LC575 Logic Board but no longer has a rear panel to cover and protect the logic board. It has all the right cutouts to fit the LC575 and each cutout is the exact same size as the original. Even the symbols for each port have been faithfully recreated in a painful process to make them as close to the original as possible. Though not clearly visible in the pictures, the symbols are laser engraved on the white panel also. These panels are made from 3mm acrylic sheet and are available in white or clear. Unfortunately no-one actually fabricates acrylic sheet in ‘sun damaged Apple Platinum’. ;) There are snap-out cut outs for both the Comm Slot 2 and LC PDS slots. The irony is not lost on us with the photos below depicting a Colo(u)r classic featuring two ethernet interfaces. Each kit comes with the rear panel of your choice and two new M3 20mm screws with zinc plated washers for mounting your new panel. Please ensure compatibility prior to purchase.
