Description: This is a beautiful antique lamp, heavy with a metal base that looks like it's perhaps painted in enamel? I believe this is called a reverse painted lamp and the shade is a mustardy color which matches the color on the actual lamp base. The lamp itself needs to be rewired as I don't think it could be turned on in this condition so I haven't tested it. The lamp shade itself is an unusual mustard, yellow with groups of trees on little islands of grass against the sea shore. The leaves are autumn colors of brown and orange and green and red which is why we're calling it Autumn by the Sea. I do not see a signature on this. The shades measure approx. 7 and 1/4 in across and from bottom edge to where the cap sits it is 5 in with another inch or so of the cap itself. The shade is in beautiful condition for its age with no chips or cracks. There are a couple areas where there's a couple paint splatters just little dots from whatever was painted next to it, but that is it. That is shown in the photos. From the very top of the finial to the bottom of the base measures approximately 14 in tall. We are making this a true auction and letting you decide this beauty's worth.
