Description: Here is an Antique Rose Petal Graduated Bead Necklace from the 1910 - 1920's era. Rose petal beads are made from dried rose petals. Making rose petal beads was a time-consuming venture that was popular during the Edwardian era. When originally worn they released a rose scent. This necklace is a cream color interspersed with glass spacer beads. A shade dingier than pics. These beads tend to be a bit dingy from age. Measures: 30" long; largest bead 1/2" across. There is one bead that is broken in half. Also, the necklace appears to have been retied at some point. See close-up pics. Thanks for looking!
