Description: The listing is for a Victorian silver plate roll top breakfast server with the mark of Longport Silver Co., England, 1825 - 1920. The company manufactured silver plate along with porcelain dinnerware. The breakfast server come with two trays. One reticulated or pierced and the other flat. The server features a fluted cover and what appears to be a Bakelite thumb rest. Bakelite wasn't invented until 1907. Condition: The roll top serving dish is in good condition as shown in the pictures. The cover rolls back as it should and the trays both fit properly. There are no monograms or visible repairs and no dents. The silver plate shows lots of shine. Size: The breakfast server measures 12 inches wide and stands 7.5 inches tall.
