Etched vine and floral design.This beauty could date back to as early as 1915.An amazing find and in nice condition considering its centenarian age.Approximate measurements: 11-1/2” long with handles 7-1/2” front to back (exterior) 2-3/8” tall without lid 4-3/4” tall with lid Bottom casseroleA few fleabites on inside edge of casserole and nicks on corners of handles. Scratches, scuff marks, and some dullness to glass of casserole.The embossed backstamp trademark provides a wealth of information. This is one of the earliest clear glass Pyrex markings. In the middle of a simple circle, PYREX appears in all caps in the serif font with Corning Glassworks “CG” monogram above and below. This monogram is sometimes referred to a reverse dollar sign ($). T.M. REG. is inside of circle at top, U.S. PAT. OFF. is inside of circle at bottom.Underside of handles embossed “043 - OR - 643 - B” and “C - B”. LidThe pointed finial handle has great character and design.It always seems like lids take the beating, but in this case, the lid seems to have aged better than the bottom casserole.
