Description: This is a beautiful, antique quilt ~ it would display well on bed or could be a spectacular wall hanging. Here is an antique hand-quilted pink and cream quilt. It measures approximately 80 inches by 74 inches and the photos show it displayed on KING size bed. Beautiful hand quilting diagonals and some circular motifs [see photos]. Pinwheel pattern offset with cream. Back is matching cream fabric and the edge binding is pink [this was stitched on machine]. Batting is very thin ~ maybe just a single layer of fabric? It appears to be all cotton. There is one small (2-inch) area that is worn through, and a smudge on one edge [see photos]. One area where hand-quilting is worn but fabric intact [see photos]. Back shows one minor stain [see photos]. Quilt does not smell musty or moldy ~ it does appear to have a light, pleasant "cedar chest" fragrance.
