Description: You're looking at an Antique Old Vintage French? Wood Sewing Box Etui Mother of Pearl Thread Winders. The box is in pre-owned condition with signs of wear as scratches, stains, some peeling, is missing two wood feet at the base area. The sewing tools show some stains, scratches and light soiling. The wood box has a vinyl paper, which shows peeling and tiny missing areas. The lid seems to be attached with the vinyl paper, so feels kind of loose. At the outside lid area, the box shows a painting, which shows some faded paint, because is getting detached at the inside area. At the inside, the wood box has a glass which used to be a mirror which shows loss of the reflecting paint, and is getting detached; all around it has a velvet rim, which is also getting detached. Is missing the needle holder, I guess, there is an empty space. The sewing set has scissors, which are in working condition, thimble, needles, punch sewing tool, a knife blade, and two mother of pearl thread winders. The wood box measures 6 3/4" (17 cm) x 5 1/4" (13 cm) approx., x 1 1/4" (3 cm) approx. and is footed, but two wood feet are missing.The scissors measure 4 1/2" (11.5 cm) approx., they are made of a silver material at the handles area with metal blades, and are in working condition.The thimble has a number 3, and mesures 7/8" (2 cm) approx., is made of a brass material, so I guess isn't original to the set.Has two needles, one is made of a silver metal material and the other one is made of a metal material; each measures 2 3/4" (7 cm) approx.The punch sewing tool, measures 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) approx., is made of a silver metal material at the handle with a metal bodyThe knife blade, measures 4 3/4" (12 cm) approx., and has a silver metal handle with a metal blade.The MOP thread winders measure 7/8" (2.2 cm) approx.All the items show some scratches, stains, tarnished areas, some dents, and tiny spots.
