Description: "Head of a young Woman" after the painting by Jean Baptiste Grueze. Mezzotint Engraving by Arthur L. Cox. Edition Strictly Limited and plate destroyed(which is sad but gives greater value). This has not been out of frame that is a beautiful hand painted flowers and painted to look like stone on sides. The Mezzotint is vibrant and was difficult to photograph with the reflection of glass but you can tell by the signature that there is no fading to print. The frame has some issues that you see in photos but structure very sturdy and would be well worth the investment to touch up. This appears to be 1920s to 1930s beautiful red hair and blue eyes. Frame is 15 3/4 x 21" and print is 11" x 9"
