Description: Today we are pleased to offer for sale a wonderful antique French Limoges armorial porcelain urn! This lovely piece is finely crafted and detailed. The ginger jar-form vase features a hexagonal baluster body with matching lid, glazed in off white, with lovely gilt floral sprays and regal lion and coronet armorial coat of arms on the front. The vase is attached to a bespoke reticulated ormolu base and features an ormolu acorn finial. Signed "Philip" and marked "Peinte a la main". The vase presents well and is in very good antique condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. The porcelain has minimal wear and no visible damage.
