This type, marked “Made in the USSR” on the back panel, was produced mainly in small quantities for export. The absence of this mark indicated that the camera was produced for a domestic buyer. Not a single expert knows for sure the exact circulation of this variety, but they know the estimated one, calculated by them in the process of a long analysis. This is a modernized, already rare version of the "Kyiv-4A" camera. The letter "M" in the name stands for the abbreviation - "modernized", that is, improved.
