Description: ANTIQUE BROWNFIELD & SONS FLOW BLUE TRANSFERWARE SYRP PITCHER ENGLAND - C1870S. This is an antique flow blue transferware syrup pitcher produced by Brownfield & Sons of Staffordshire, England. The bottom of the pitcher is marked with the Brownfield & Sons mark along with the name of the design "Woodland" and an English Registry Mark. The pitcher is believed to date from around 1870. The pitcher has a little discoloration here and there along with crazing, but no chips, cracks, or other damage. The pewter lid is well attached and moves well. The inside of the pitcher is clean. Always amazes me that the condition of an item this old is in such good condition. Measures approximately 7.25" tall and holds approximately 16 ounces / 2 cups. Please have a look at the photos as they likely provide the best description. 33
